Flavor Flav was reportedly trying to make his way to Las Vegas when he missed his flight by a slim chance. According to the rapper, the issue could have been resolved quickly if they had opened the gate and let him get on. However, Spirit Airlines employees denied entry to the rapper, which caused him to go off.
The rapper was spotted at the Harry Reid International Airport this past Thursday at the Spirit Airlines gate around 11:30 PM, waiting to catch a flight to Detroit. Sources noted Flav was seen working on his laptop and talking on the phone. Flav reportedly noticed the gate agent shutting the door and ran up to ask the agent to reopen the door. However, when they didn’t honor the request, Flav went off.
Flavor Flav spoke to TMZ and explained what happened: "Spirit Airlines shut the door on me while I was in line to board. I was upset and said some harsh words to the gate agent. I apologize to those who witnessed me acting out of character. I do not apologize to Spirit Airlines or the gate agent.” Watch above.
