Floyd Mayweather and YouTuber Deji faced off in an exhibition match on Sunday (November 13), and for most of the fight, Mayweather taunted his opponent. Floyd danced and stole the ring-card girl's job during the match, but Deji managed to land a punch and gave Mayweather a black eye.
Floyd emerged from the fight unbothered, which he displayed when asked about the shiner. Floyd responded, "Yeah, absolutely!" when asked about the black eye. He added, "That's cool, though, we had fun tonight. You guys wanted to see a little something. I had to close the gap, so when you close the gap that happens."
Before the fight, Deji said that his only goal was to land a punch, stating, "That would be amazing, of course, against the best defensive fighter in the world. So, I’m looking to have fun, I’m looking to showcase my skills and show what YouTubers can do."
Following the fight, Deji celebrated landing a punch, as he tweeted, "I gave Floyd a black eye."
