Former NBA Slam Dunk champion Nate Robinson made headlines just a little over a month ago when he revealed that he's undergoing treatment for kidney failure. During a recent sit down with Playmaker HQ, the 11-year NBA vet opened up about his diagnosis and how he's hoping to use his platform to advocate for the scores of people dealing with the same issue.
One of Robinson's former teammates Jason Terry spoke with Sports Illustrated after news broke about Nate's condition. “I spoke to Nate the other day” Terry said. “He’s in good spirits. He’s getting treatment, and hopefully one day he’ll be back healthy. That’s what we’re all praying for. He has the support from all his brothers.”
