Kodak Black and 21 Savage have been going back and forth ever since 21 said that he would beat anyone in his XXL Freshman class in a Verzuz battle, which included Kodak. Last week, Kodak updated fans about the situation and revealed that he was in contact with people about setting up a Verzuz battle.

Now, Kodak is getting at 21 Savage over his comments on Clubhouse about Nas. The people in the Clubhouse chat were debating Nas in the GOAT conversation in a room called, "Is Nas The Greatest Rapper or What? #KD3." During the discussion, 21 Savage stated, "I don’t feel like he’s relevant. I just feel like he got a loyal fanbase. He still makes good music."

Kodak responded to 21 on Instagram Live, where he stated, "Talking about, ‘Oh, Nas irrelevant.’ How the f*** Nas irrelevant, hoe? How the f*** Nas ain’t relevant, homie? N***a smoking d**k! Did a f**king Drake [album]. We salute Drake, we love Drake, okay, whatever."

Kodak went on to sing the chorus of Nas' 2002 hit song "I Can," and he also pointed out Nas' investments, including being one of the first people to invest in the security camera company Ring. In 2018, it was reported that Nas' investments netted him $40 million after Amazon acquired Ring.

Following the backlash over his comments, 21 Savage clarified his statement on Twitter, writing, "I would never disrespect Nas or any legend who paved the way for me. Y'all be tryna take stuff and run with it."
