A woman named Amelia Rose spoke out for the first time about the incident that led to rapper Pop Smoke being killed, as she spoke to Van Lathan for an episode of WE TV's "Hip Hop Homicides."

Pop Smoke was renting a home in the Hollywood Hills when he was a victim of a violent robbery that led to him being fatally shot in 2020. Rose spoke to Van Lathan about the moments leading up to the incident, as she stated, "Pop said he was going to upstairs. I'm sitting on the bed, and I'm starting to take off my clothes, and he said, 'Okay, I will come back.' He was going to restroom. This is his last words."

Rose then revealed that while Pop was out of the room, a gunman entered, "And I hear some noise. The guy was in the mask and his gun was like, looking at me. His eyes make me so scared. They run to the restroom. Pop screamed, 'What?!'"
