In this clip, Shawn Prez asked Ed Lover about the suspects in Jam Master Jay’s case being linked to the late rapper Stretch, who was also Ed’s friend. Ed explained that the streets have been talking about this for years, and he added that he was so impressed by Stretch’s rise from the streets. He added that he’s the Godfather of Stretch’s daughter, and Ed also explained why he has always tried to protect Stretch’s name for years. Ed stated that he hopes that there’s a star witness in Jam Master Jay’s trial, and he added that the people who were brought into the studio the night he died definitely knew Jay.
