Previously, authorities claimed a bad joke sparked Blueface’s attempted murder case. The rapper and his crew were at Euphoric Gentleman’s Club in Las Vegas when the alleged victim made a bad joke about Blueface talking with “some females in a cheap vehicle.” Since then, the rapper’s lawyer has spoken about the charges against him, saying Blueface was “overcharged” with attempted murder.

Lawyers for the rapper will look to disprove the charges in court, according to a report from ‘The Review-Journal.’ Blueface’s lawyer Lisa Rasmussen spoke on the charges, saying, “From first glance, it appears that the charges are overcharged.” Along with that, Rasmussen told Blueface to reject press coverage of the case and stay quiet on details on the situation.

The lawyer noted she doesn’t have a proper copy of the shooting footage. While speaking more on the situation, Rasmussen went on to say, “The other thing I’d like to say is that we’re really looking forward to litigating this matter in court on behalf of our client, and we think that when all of the evidence comes out in court, it will be apparent that the way he’s charged is not necessarily consistent with what appears to have actually happened.” Stay tuned for more updates.
