Five years ago, a Florida man named Charles McDowell (35) was arrested for multiple drug charges. Shortly thereafter, the image of his mug shot went viral due to the large size of his neck. Thus earning him the nickname "Wide Neck." In the months that followed, he capitalized on his newfound fame with 1 million followers on Instagram, a music video called "First Day Out" and a few rap names (such as DBD Wayne aka Wide Neck and Daddy Long Neck).
McDowell once again finds himself in the spotlight after having been arrested on Sunday for stalking and withholding child support. The arrest stems from an incident on August 24th, when McDowell reportedly showed up at a woman's house before texting her with threatening messages.
He is currently being held at a jail in Escambia County, Florida.
