Part 2: JR Writer on Why There was "Always Tension" Between Him and Dipset's 40 Cal

In this clip, JR Writer and Shawn Prez take a little trip down memory lane to talk about what VladTV used to be like during its early stages. From there, JR Writer explains that his stage name is based on the former NBA Slam Dunk Champion, JR Rider. As the interview moves along, he talks about some of the emcees that influenced his lyricism, such as Jay-Z, Nas, and Big L. He also talks about his background as a Harlem native before explaining how he ended up linking with Cam'ron and his classic rap battles with Jae Millz.

Later, Shawn Prez shares a story about bringing Fred The Godson to Bad Boy to rap for Diddy, while JR Writer shares his thoughts on Fat Joe's statement about Blacks and Latinos starting hip-hop together by indicating that there are so many stories behind the origin of rap that there is no real way to tell who started it. From there, Shawn Prez talks gives Kook Herc his flowers before stating that hip-hop started in the Bronx and that Latinos were definitely involved in the making of the five elements of hip-hop. Moving along, JR Writer states that if he was coming up in today's era of rap, he doesn't think he could fall in love with Bronx Drill because he is a lyricist that has something to say. Lastly, the two men explain why they aren't huge fans of Drill.
