Part 2: Louis Diaz on Going Undercover to Bust Nicky Barnes, Nicky Supplied Heroin by Mafia

Former undercover DEA agent Louis Diaz came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he started off by speaking about growing up in Red Hook, Brooklyn, in the 1950s and 60s, which he called “the best part of my life.” Louis explained that Red Hook was filled with families and kids at that time, which Louis said led to him always having kids to play with and getting into trouble. Louis then revealed that the mafia had a presence at that time, and he went on to speak about joining the Army and returning to the U.S. in 1966. From there, Louis spoke about a member of the Genovese crime family coming to his wedding, and he also spoke about joining the EEOC as an investigator and later joining the ATF.
