In this clip, Montell Jordan described his parents' reaction to his music, particularly the lyrics about drinking 40 oz beers on “This Is How We Do It.” Despite his strict church upbringing, Montell talked about his mother being supportive and even having a cameo on his album. He also discussed the follow-up to “This Is How We Do It” with “Something for the Honeys,” which he called a tragedy for having to come out after a record that was a global phenomenon.
