According to reports, a jury sentenced Mississippi Walmart shooter Martez Abram to death.
The man was convicted of capital murder and attempted murder after he admitted to shooting three people in a Southaven Walmart in 2019. Abram was found guilty of the shooting deaths of his two co-workers Anthony Brown and Brandon Gales.
Abram reportedly shot and injured a police officer in the melee. Prior to the shooting, Abram had an incident with a subordinate and was called into the manager’s office. Brown was reportedly the manager, and Abram ended up being suspended. Stay tuned for more updates.

According to reports, a “disgruntled” employee shot two other employees at a Walmart in Mississippi. The incident took place at 6:30 am.
Police reportedly exchanged fire with the shooter in the parking lot of Walmart after receiving a 911 call around 6:33 am. The shooter wounded one of the officers before the other officer on the scene was able to take them down. Southaven Police Chief Macon Moore issued a statement on the incident, saying “One of our officers was shot at this time. He was saved by his vest. At this point, the suspect was engaged by another officer. He was struck twice by gunfire from our officer. He was taken into custody."
