Last year, Hansel Enmanuel, a Dominican American high school basketball player from Life Christian Academy, set the internet ablaze with dominant performances and flashy highlight reels. In his final year of high school, Enmanuel averaged 25.9 points, 11 rebounds, 6.9 assists, and 3.4 blocks per game. At the time, the most remarkable aspect of Enmauel's budding career was that his eye-popping numbers were accomplished with one arm. When Enmanuel was six years old, a concrete wall fell on his arm when he was playing with a friend. The horrific incident shattered the ligaments in his arm, causing doctors to amputate it a few hours later. With that occurrence in the rearview mirror, Enmanuel grew into a 6'6 point guard and put on a standout performance in the heralded 'Drew Leauge,' during the Summer of 2022.' He even shared the court with Kyrie Irving in the off-season during a heated Pro-Am basketball game.

The world has taken notice of Hansel Enmanuel. He is now a freshman on the NCAA Division I stage at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, and he recently signed a NIL deal with Adidas. The deal makes him one of four college basketball players to sign with the famed shoe and clothing company.
