In this clip, DJ Akademiks talks about nepotism in hip-hop and the way in which someone like Diddy's son, King Combs, is already benefiting from the money and knowledge that his father has passed down to him. He then uses NBA YoungBoy as an example while on this topic, stating that because he didn't have mentorship or prior knowledge of recording contracts and owning his masters when he signed with Atlantic, he may have lost money.
Later in the clip, DJ Vlad talks about the importance of a song called "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five before talking about the events that led to Kidd Creole (a core member of the group) working odd jobs to make ends meet, with DJ Akademiks. This prompts the two men to discuss the possibility of a healthcare plan for hip-hop pioneers such as DJ Kool Herc.
