Previously, YNW Melly spoke on alleged mistreatment he was the subject of at the current jail he’s being held in. Now, Melly has taken to Instagram to tell everyone he is in fear for his life at the facility he’s being held in.
Melly said, “As of this moment today, I am officially in fear of my life. A new captain named Hubert and XO Jenkins has taken over the jail for two weeks now and have handed out even harsher punishments for me than the previous ones in place.”
The rapper then described the situation in detail: "Since December 1, I have been moved and housed in a unit that holds 24 inmates at once. I am the only inmate being housed on the vacant unit, with no phone privilege, no television, and no access to a newspaper.”
Melly noted he’s only allowed out of his cell for one hour a day and says all other inmates must go back in their cell when he comes out. He then went on to say he’s been threatened by deputies and lieutenants, who say “they will hide me from the world” and threaten to “beat my a** every day,” with the people mentioned saying they would lie about who initiated contact first.
