Recently, it was revealed that the bond for the alleged killer of Takeoff—Patrick Xavier Clark was set at $2 million. Clark was arrested for the shooting, and documents revealed he applied for an expedited passport to flee to Mexico. Now, Clark has reportedly asked for a judge to reduce his bail.
Legal documents that surfaced showed Clark and his attorney Carl Moore filed a motion in Texas to reduce his bail, saying it was too much. The motion asked that the bail be reduced to $100,000. Clark told the judge he thinks he can gather the money with the help of a bail bondsman and would stay with his parents if the motion was granted.
Moore clarified that Clark would follow any curfew and wear a GPS monitor. The alleged gunman said he would also follow a “no-contact” order and give up his passport. Stay tuned for more updates.
