Controversial far right-winger Nick Fuentes is claiming that Kanye West, now known as Ye, was scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss freeing WNBA star Brittney Griner. Last week, Griner was released due to a prisoner trade between the United States and Russia, which ultimately led to Kanye's alleged meeting with Putin to be called off.
Fuentes claims that Ye's meeting with Putin was scheduled earlier in December. Ye allegedly signed paperwork to show his "intention to broker the deal," according to Fuentes. He claims that the White House got word of Kanye's plans to help free Griner, which Fuentes says led to Biden freeing Griner.
Fuentes also spoke with Timcast, the website for YouTuber Tim Pool, as he stated, "Ye is pro Putin. He is very interested in Eastern Orthodox Christianity… Ye’s intuition is correct, we want peace. We do not want war. He wants world peace."
