It has been nearly four months since Lul Pab, a close friend of Quando Rondo, was fatally gunned down by three hitmen at a gas station in the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles. The video footage depicted Quando Rondo screaming in heartbreak and disbelief as the incident unfolded right in front of him. In the aftermath of the untimely August killing, several rappers weighed in with commentary. Some sent their condolences to Quando Rondo, while others taunted him during his time of grief. According to reports, the Georgia-based rapper was the target of the attack. A reality that likely played a role in the rapper's announcement to "lay his flag" down, renouncing his affiliation with the NH Crips, without getting "jumped out" by his gang-affiliated associates. This caused harsh criticism from fellow rappers like J. Stone, who did not appear to agree with how Quando Rondo renounced his association with "NH."

The curator of TheRealMVPTV recently caught up with a group of the Rolling 90's Neighborhood Crips in Los Angeles to talk about their culture and surviving the streets of the area as an out-of-towner. He also asked them for their take on Quando Rondo's decision to lay down his flag.

"How y'all feel about the Quando Rondo sh*t?" Asked the interviewer.

"Man, f*ck cuz," responded one of the Crips.

"N*gga, f*ck [Quando Rondo] and the fabric that flag was made out of!" Yelled another Crip while standing in the background.

"This sh*t forever!" Added another as the group gathered around the camera. "N*ggas really die for this sh*t."

Then, one of the guys explained more about the group's feelings toward the 23-year-old rapper.

"Quando [is] really, low-key shooken up. On some real sh*t, but that's not how you go about it, bro."
