Dr. Umar Johnson has had longstanding issues with Stephen A. Smith as an embodiment of the black sellout. Johnson has made comments about Smith for quite some time without response. However, Stephen A. finally decided to address Dr. Umar on his podcast Know Mercy with Stephen A. Smith.
A teaser of the latest episode titled "It's on: Tired of This," has been circulating around social media where Smith calls out Johnson for remarking that he deserves "50,000 lashes." Smith said he doesn't know a human being alive he would wish 50,000 lashes on and asked how low could Umar go.
While those interested in getting Smith's full comments will need to listen to the entire episode, his remarks will undoubtedly elicit a response from Dr. Umar.
