According to reports, Iyanna “Yaya” Mayweather was sentenced to six years probation after she was found guilty of stabbing one of the mothers of NBA Youngboy’s children.
The incident occurred on April 4, 2020, and Mayweather reportedly stabbed Lapattra Jacobs after finding out the woman was inside NBA Youngboy’s home. Court documents noted that Mayweather, now 22, pleaded guilty to stabbing Jacobs.
The daughter of storied boxer Floyd Mayweather pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. As a result, she was sentenced to six years of probation as well as a Deferred Adjudication of Guilt. News of this comes after it was revealed that Mayweather changed her plea in the assault case.
