The news of Gunna taking a plea deal during the YSL RICO indictment has left many divided. Now, news surfaced noting YSL rapper Slimelife Shawty was released on a plea, making this the third deal in the case.
While speaking on the matter, the rapper revealed what went down with his situation via Instagram. Slimelife Shawty went on to say “Yea I’m home. [Ain’t] have to snitch to get here d**khead.” The rapper continued saying, “I admitted young slime life was a gang cus it ain’t illegal for no group to be a gang look it up that don’t hurt nobody anybody can be a gang, plus the founder already admitted it stupid. What [am I supposed] to say if a founder admitted it? What I [didn’t] do was say Yes it’s a fact people in ysl commit crimes like murder and etc cus ion no nun bout that.”
The rapper reportedly requested the same Alford plea that Gunna received. In exchange, he pled guilty as a first offender to one count of conspiracy to violate the RICO act. Slimelife Shawty was sentenced to ten years, with nine of those years finding the rapper on probation, while he getting one of the years commuted to time served.
