Previously, it was noted that the trial for the murder of Florida rapper XXXTentacion is set to begin on January 9, 2023. So far, four men have been charged in the fatal shooting that resulted in the rising rapper's death.

Following XXXTentacion’s death in 2018, unproven theories and claims began surfacing related to Drake’s involvement in the situation, with rumors more than likely stemming from a social media exchange with Drake. Now, it has been reported that the defense attorney for defendant Dedrick Williams is set to list Drake, Migos, and other rappers and hip-hop personalities as potential witnesses in this case.

Williams was pinned as the getaway driver and said he had “no knowledge in advance” that XXXTentacion would be robbed and killed. Broward Circuit Judge Michael Usan told Miami defense attorney Mauricio Padilla to provide a witness list of people he planned to subpoena, along with addresses where they can be served.

Padilla responded, “They are high-profile people. And it’s not easy for me to subpoena. I don’t have numbers, but it doesn’t mean I won’t be able to. Trying to subpoena Drake is not easy — you need a drone.” Others like 600 Breezy, Quavo, Offset, and the late Takeoff were listed as potential witnesses. Stay tuned for more updates.
