In 2010, Pusha T signed to Kanye's Imprint with Def Jam called G.O.O.D. Music. During the label's heyday, the roster boasted the likes of Kid Cudi, Big Sean, Q-Tip, and Hit-Boy, among others. Five years later, Kanye West named Pusha T his replacement as the famed record label's president.  His next three albums would be released under Kanye's cooperate umbrella but in the wake of his former boss's recent controversy surrounding antisemitism and more, Pusha T has opted to distance himself.

In a recent interview with XXL Magazine, the 45-year-old emcee from New York announced that not only will he be stepping down as the president of G.O.O.D. Music, but he will no longer be releasing music through the label. Instead, his 50/50 deal will continue on through his own imprint with Def Jam called the Heir Wave Music Group.
