Nearly two decades ago, Master P was one of hip hop's most relevant recording artists and businessmen. His label, No Limit Records, was the stable of the South, and his pre-teenage son, Lil Romeo, was a multi-platinum-selling rapper. Meanwhile, another rap mogul, Benzino, was making moves in media as the co-owner of perhaps the most influential print magazine in the history of hip-hop, The Source. Today, Master P and Benzino are in the twilight of their careers as artists. Hence, they primarily focus on business endeavors rather than music. Each of the rappers is the father of a famous recording artist whom they are currently on the outskirts with. Coi Leray has been quite vocal about her displeasure with Benzino's behavior, oftentimes on social media. But Romeo Miller took things to a whole new level when he alleged (on social media) that his father, Master P, took advantage of him financially. To which Master P publically apologized.

When Benzino caught wind of the dilemma between Master P and his eldest child, he did what all parties involved have done since their respective inner family drama began; he took to Twitter to address the situation. The 57-year-old displayed a showing of support for Master P, from one hip-hop dad to another, implying that he could certainly relate.

“I need to talk to Master P,” Benzino tweeted. “He needs to know he got my support as well as Romeo, but I think P needs someone who’s going through the same thing in public and the best thing is to keep it private.”
