Taliban Glizzy, as an associate of Shy Glizzy, was reportedly apprehended by the U.S. Secret Service in Washington D.C. for illegally possessing multiple guns. According to information obtained by All Hip Hip, the arrest occurred on December 12 in a traffic stop. During that time, the officers on duty recovered an Oyster Perpetual Rolex watch and diamond earrings worth approximately $17,000. Before the arrest, Taliban Glizzy had been under surveillance for an entire calendar year as local authorities gathered intel regarding his proclivity for obtaining semi-automatic riffles. His stage name and rap lyrics are said to have played a role in landing him on the government's radar. Upon his arrest, prosecutors asked the court not to release him until his trial commences, citing him as a flight risk.
