Friday's conviction of Tory Lanez (Daystar Peterson) has already sent shockwaves throughout the urban media as this wild court case finally came to a close. Megan Thee Stallion (Megan Pete) accused the Canadian singer/rapper of shooting her in the foot while yelling, "Dance B_tch!" But six days ago, a DNA expert concluded that none of Tory's deoxyribonucleic acid or hereditary information was found on the weapon used in the incident after a party in the Hollywood Hills on the night of July 12, 2020. Instances such as these made for a dramatic trial, where the accuser and the defendant each appeared to have the upper hand at one period or another.
After the jurors decided on the verdict, Tory's father (Sonstar Peterson) and stepmother stood outside of the courthouse to air out their frustration about the tactics that were allegedly used to conclude their son's trial. Tory's father slams Jay-Z and calls him a traitor before mentioning the likes of Kathy Ta, the Deputy District Attorney involved in the case. Tory's stepmother also weighs in, claiming that Kathy Ta met with Sean Kelly, a witness who Tory's legal team put on the stand, last weekend, in an effort to bury their son's supporting evidence.
