Tory Lanez was recently found guilty of all charges against him for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. Now, 1501 Certified Entertainment CEO Carl Crawford has chimed in with his thoughts on the verdict.
Crawford, who has been wrapped up in a lawsuit with Megan, commented on the verdict while responding to a commenter on Instagram Live. Crawford went on to say “I knew they was gonna say that: I’m next. Aye bro, look: I hope I’m next ’cause, s**t, it’s been four years. Man! That s**t crazy. Damn, that s**t wild than a muthaf**ka.”
The 1501 CEO then spoke about the amount of time Tory Lanez is set to get following the verdict. “A Black man finna go to jail for about 15-20 years, two days before Christmas.” He continued saying “Now if a Black man don’t feel that s**t, I mean… that’s cold. Every n***a I done called, we done all had the same reaction. I’ma just sit and let this one sit.” said Crawford.
Another point of focus was Lanez’s family outside of the courthouse following the verdict. Crawford said, “His kids sick, his parents, grandmama sick, everybody sick. I saw his daddy talking out in front of the courthouse, that s**t was coming from the pit! You see I’m lost for words myself. He won’t get to see his son for a long time. The whole thing just feel like some all-around sinister s**t. That s**t just seem scary almost, I ain’t gon’ even much lie.” Watch above.
