Karrine Steffans, 44, the NY Times best-selling author who now goes by Elisabeth Ovesen, announced on her Instagram that she's expecting a child with celebrity chef Kwame Onwuachi, 33.
In a post made on Tuesday (December 27), Karrine shared a photo of a positive pregnancy test. She explained, "For some women, women like me, these two lines are scary. They conjure feelings of fear and anticipation, anxiety and confusion."
Karrine went on to detail the appointments she's had since learning she was pregnant, and she stated, "Bed rest is certain and nothing else." Karrine then added, "Thank you, @chefkwameonwuachi for the most exciting, most terrifying gift. I don’t know what comes next, but I know I can’t do it without you."
