In this clip, D.L. Hughley shares his thoughts on the international trade that resulted in the release of WNBA star Brittney Griner. The actor/comedian suggests that President Joe Biden fought hard for the release of Brittney because many of his supporters are Black women and he wanted to appease their demands. He then brings up an interesting point about the difficulties behind getting a prisoner from Alabama released from prison for marijuana possession. As the talk moves along, the discussion shifts to Kanye West. D.L. says that he was done with Kanye after his remarks about slavery being a choice. He then talks about the way in which Kanye lost his endorsements before stating, "If Christians can survive without Jesus, Adidas can survive without Yeezus." He also refutes the notion that Kanye's behavior is due to mental health stating that ex-NBA player Delonte West could never get away with saying and doing what he does. Lastly, D.L. and DJ Vlad talk about the brutality of Hitler and why it was so horrendous that Kanye referred to him so often.
