Previously, Meek Mill’s phone was taken while the rapper was in Ghana. The rapper was in Ghana to headline the Afro Nation festival with Davido, Rema, and more. Now, it has been revealed Meek’s phone was retrieved, and the suspect who took the phone was arrested. Meek showed footage of the phone being brought back and then showed a screenshot of a text noting his phone was being brought to him. 

Since then, Meek took to Twitter and spoke about the incident, saying he didn’t want to see anyone locked up. “I coulda dropped that phone on a dirt bike I don’t know for a fact somebody went in my pocket!” said the rapper. He continued saying, “I got it back that’s all I needed I don’t need anybody locked up for a phone,” he wrote. “I don’t even know what happened to it.” Take a look above.

Meek Mill recently traveled to Ghana to headline the Afro Nation music festival alongside Davido, Rema, Black Sherif, and others. 

While there, Meek has been updating his followers on what he's been up to in the West African country, including riding four-wheelers with locals. Meek also revealed that he was partying it up at a local club from 3 am to 7 am. 

And while it seems Meek has made the most of his time in Ghana, he revealed on Thursday (December 29) night that someone took his phone. Meek shared a post on Instagram Live that read, "They pick pocketed me for my phoneeeeeee SMH...Bring that Jawn back if you got it!!!

Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist Shatta Wale then took to Twitter to ask for help in getting Meek's phone back, writing, "Streetz if you know you have meek mills phone pls return am …that’s if it’s true . You can’t do that to a real hustler .. by Moro morning Return am Meek inspires all of us on the street a lot."
