Update 01/02/2023 1:43pm:
Last week, SpadeTV uploaded a throwback photo of Terrance "Gangsta" Williams posing at a club with some heavy hitters during their prime in the game. The photo depicted five gentlemen. Gangsta was resting on a chair in the middle of the group while one of his associates sat on his lap for a brief moment. The post went viral, which caused one of the original "real-life" Hot Boys to address the controversy surrounding the photo. Gangsta recently appeared as a guest on Street Starz by RealLyfe Productions to provide his fans with a backstory on the events leading up to the classic photo and why everyone was positioned the way they were when the cameras started flashing.
"That picture, I think was in 1994...either '96 or 94. The person sitting on my lap was, Sterling, one of the original Hot Boys," Gangsta explained. "Back then, we didn't..In today's generation, everything is homophobia. It's like, 'oh this gay, this gay,' but it's okay for someone to wear some tight pants and have their butt showing. Sagging with the tight pants, [but] that ain't gay though."
Later in the discussion, the New Orleans street legend tells the story about how the originally found its way to the public.
"Actually, how the picture [came] out...a few months ago, I had post the picture," Gangsta said. "That's when [a friend] was like,'If I was you, I'd take that picture down because that picture's gonna go viral. She said, right now, you got a lot going on right now, so you don't need it now...I was just learning social media, so I was like, 'Alright, I'ma take it down.' So, a guy that I'm cool with, he has a YouTube channel called Truth Be Told, he hit on Instagram, he was like, 'I noticed a while back you posted this picture, would it be alright if I repost it now?' So at this time, things were kinda claiming down, so I was like 'yeah go ahead.' Back then, we didn't see anything wrong with [posing for pictures that way]; we were sure of ourselves. And for everybody who want to know this, even for the LGBTQ community, no, I am not a part of you guys...We did not indulge in homosexual activities [and] I do not indulge in homosexual activities right now. So, don't come playing with me."

His prison stories have become the stuff of legend, along with his rise to power and fallout with his iconic older brother, Birdman. Earlier this year, Gangsta's street cred was recently called into question by fellow Louisiana native Boosie. However, plenty of eyewitnesses still vouch for Gangsta's reputation.
