According to footage, a prisoner transported in the back of a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department car was seen trying to escape out of the back window.
The incident went down this past Saturday while the prisoner was being transported from the North County Correctional Facility in Castaic, California. The inmate, who hasn’t been identified, was being taken to the hospital for an injury.
While on the way, the inmate allegedly began kicking the back window and ended up pushing their way out of the window after the vehicle came to a stop. Footage shows the inmate trying to escape from the window, only to fall on their face. The deputy eventually grabbed the inmate with the help of a civilian. Watch above.
