The Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals were set to cap off a jam packed Week 17 of the NFL season with the marquee game on Monday Night Football. However, the contest was cut short after Bills safety Damar Hamlin was given CPR after collapsing on the field.

The choice to postpone the game was an obvious choice to many, except for FS1's Skip Bayless who tweeted, "No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game - but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome ... which suddenly seems so irrelevant."

Bayless's tweet received responses from many across the sports world, specifically those from the realm of football who were none too pleased with his remark.

"Damar Hamlin’s LIFE is in the balance. Get your head out of your A**," tweeted Robert Griffin III.

Skip came back roughly an hour after his initial tweet to clarify his comments. “Nothing is more important than that young man’s health. That was the point of my last tweet,” said Bayless. “I’m sorry if that was misunderstood but his health is all that matters. Again, everything else is irrelevant. I prayed for him & will continue to.”

Hamlin remains in critical condition...
