More details are coming out regarding the chilling scene in Cincinnati on Monday night during the Bengals and Bills match up when Buffalo safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field after being hit.

According to ESPN, Hamlin went into cardiac arrest and had his heartbeat restored after he was administered CPR before leaving in an ambulance. He was taken to nearby University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he remains sedated and in critical condition.

"The NFLPA and everyone in our community is praying for Damar Hamlin," the union said in a statement. "We have been in touch with Bills and Bengals players, and with the NFL. The only thing that matters at this moment is Damar's health and well being."
