According to reports, Gucci Mane’s artist Mac Critter was arrested for first-degree murder in Memphis.
The rapper, whose real name is Daniel Bates, was arrested last month for a shooting on December 21 that left a victim dead. Since then, the rapper has been sitting in the Shelby County Jail after he was officially charged with the murder on December 29.
A message was left updating fans on the status of the 25-year-old rapper, saying, “Mac said he will be home real soon some small to [a] giant.” The message continued, “He wanna thank all his fans for supporting him from day1!!!” News of the arrest comes after Mac Critter signed with Gucci Mane in October 2022.
