In this clip, Vlad started off by asking Lyfe Jennings about meeting with Murder Inc. after he was released from prison. Lyfe then explained how he linked up with Murder Inc., and he went on to speak about meeting with Irv Gotti. When asked about what made him not go through with the deal they offered, Lyfe revealed that he liked the mood of the label, and he added that Irv offered him more money than any other label. However, Lyfe didn’t feel right when Irv told him they were going to make “idiot music” to reel in fans, but Lyfe explained that he wanted a long-lasting career. Vlad then pointed out that the music Irv wanted to throw out ended up being some of his biggest songs, “Must Be Nice,” “Cry,” and “Hypothetically.”
