Gervonta then explained that Hopkins was being paired with people that he knew he’d easily beat, which led to a conversation about “professional losers” in boxing. From there, Gervonta explained that the older boxers need to step aside for the younger, more hungry fighters. Gervonta added that younger fighters like himself don’t show any remorse in their fights, and Vlad agreed that boxing is a young man’s sport.
