According to legal reporter Meghann Cuniff, Tory Lanez's sentencing has been rescheduled for February 28 after originally being set for January 27.

Cuniff tweeted the update on Tuesday and noted that Tory's new legal team is seeking to get the Canadian national a new trial.

While speaking briefly with reporters, Tory's new lawyer David Kenner said “I look forward to litigating the motion for new trial.” Kenner noted that he's set on the issues he’ll be raising “but I’m not prepared to share them at this point. [...] We are very confident though.”
