In this flashback, Deb Antney spoke about the friction between her son, Waka Flocka, and her former artist, Gucci Mane. Deb explained that she was happy to hear that Gucci was showing Waka love from prison, and she added that there was a lot of love between the two of them. Deb then added that she thinks that if people around Gucci handled him as something other than a “money machine,” things might’ve turned out differently. From there, Deb explained that she will always do anything for Gucci Mane that needs done, and she added that she’s not personalizing anything he said. Deb added that she loves Gucci Mane, and she knows that Gucci loves her. When Vlad brings up Brick Squad, Deb explained that OJ Da Juiceman “is the real Brick Squad.” She explained that when Gucci Mane was in jail, OJ went out and made a name for Brick Squad, which you can hear more about above.
