The funeral for Gangsta Boo went down this past weekend and found DJ Paul addressing why he wasn’t present after facing backlash. Now, it has been reported that a tribute for Gangsta Boo from Three Six Mafia member Juicy J was cut from Boo’s funeral following technical difficulties.
Yelawolf, among others, had a tribute dedicated to the influential rapper, and Juicy’s tribute found him addressing moments with Gangsta Boo. Juicy J noted the video was difficult for him to make and that he and the late rapper had a great conversation only months ago after a show they had together, where they talked about many things like family and music. The loss of Gangsta Boo was “hard” for him, and he referred to her as the “Queen of Memphis.” Watch above.
