In 2019, it was noted that two men pleaded guilty to the death of rapper Young Greatness, with one of the men pleading guilty to armed robbery, manslaughter, obstruction of justice, and conspiracy. Now, another person in the case has been sentenced to prison for his role in the murder of the rapper.

42-year-old Donald Reaux was found guilty by a jury for his role in the murder after he called on two teenagers to commit an armed robbery that turned fatal. While speaking on the conviction during a press conference, Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams said, “If someone tries to encourage you to, as they said in this case ‘hit a lick, commit this crime for me because you won’t face the same consequences,’ number one you will face those consequences, number two we’re coming after you.”

Sentencing for Donald Reaux will take place on February 8, 2023. Reaux is facing a mandatory life sentence for his part in the murder.
