In this clip, Vlad started off speaking to Smokey Robinson about the death of Martin Luther King Jr., which Smokey said hit him “really hard.” He explained that at the time, he felt like all of the top men were being killed, including John F. Kennedy. Smokey stated that JFK’s death took him a long time to get over, and he added that things were compounded when Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, and Bobby Kennedy were killed.
