Flavor Flav recently appeared on DJ Akademiks’ ‘Off The Record’ podcast and spoke candidly about his crack addiction, revealing how much he spent daily on the drug.
The Public Enemy artist said he talked about his addiction in his book ‘Flavor Flav: The Icon The Memoir.’ While speaking to Akademiks, Flav said, “There was a time that I was spending $2,400 to $2,600 a day for six years straight. You do the math. And that’s how much I spent on drugs.”
Flav went on to say he hid his addiction from Public Enemy and Chuck D. The rapper and musician also talked about the number of drug lyrics present in current hip-hop. Take a look above.
