--------

In this clip, Cavario started off by asking Reginald Douglas Jr. about his cases in D.C., and Reggie explained that he beat all of them, including a murder case. He explained that he was facing 15 years to life in the cases, and Reggie stated that all of the cases come down to your lawyer’s argument. Reggie added that there were a lot of different stories being told to the jury, and he spoke about someone bragging about committing a murder that Reggie was on trial for. After speaking about being acquitted in that trial, Reggie spoke about being sentenced to 25 years to life before he was even 25 years old. Reggie explained when the judge sentenced him, his mother cried out, and Reggie stated that it was the moment he knew the depth of his actions. Reggie’s mother Lena then spoke about how her son getting 25 years changed her life, and she explained that she got a job and started focusing on herself. Lena also explained how she was honest with her other sons about Reggie, and she recalled her sons seeing Reggie on “America’s Most Wanted.” She added that the SWAT team showed up a couple of days later. Moving along, Cavario asked Reggie if he was worried about being locked up in D.C. and being known as a New York guy who killed guys in the city. Reggie said he was and wasn’t, and he went on to speak about how there were still threats inside prison, which he said taught him some lessons. Reggie went on to speak about a time when his home was robbed and his mother knocked unconscious, which you can hear more about above.
