1090 Jake has become an influential figurehead in the world of hip-hop news. He has parlayed previous prison stints, his former gang affiliations, the lessons he's learned from the streets, and his connections in the rap game to a successful YouTube channel called End of Sentence. En route to garnering nearly 1 million subscribers, Jake 1090 has ruffled some feathers and made some enemies along the way. His gritty approach to revealing information and breaking news about street activity in hip-hop has sometimes pitted him against rappers such as Boston Richey.
On Thursday, Official Florida Promo posted a video on IG that depicted a gun-wielding masked man pulling up on a bystander to inquire about 1090 Jake's whereabouts before proclaiming that the Tampa native is no longer allowed to enter the city of Tallahassee, Florida.
"Who you looking for, bruh?" Said the bystander.
"A n*gga," the gunman said. "You got that n*gaa 1090 Jake around here with you?"
"Nah, he ain't around here?" Replied the individual recording with his camera phone.
"Listen, n*gga, we hunting culture vultures around here, n*gga. We dripping up here in the city, n*gga, we dripping n*gga and hunting culture vultures, n*gga...If that n*ga come around here, tell that n*gga we at his neck..."
