In this flashback, Daylyt spoke about a conversation he had with J. Cole about how kids today listen to hip-hop and feel like they can easily get in the game, while kids in the previous generation never thought they’d be as good as the greats. Daylyt explained that he felt like the latter after listening to Nas and some other rappers, but he adds that Soulja Boy showed that “fans can rap now.” Daylyt went on to speak about how the new era is dumbing people down, and he pointed out that more lyrical rappers like Nas made people think and use their minds. The conversation then turned to streaming services, which Daylyt believes brings in more money than ever because they have tricked people into paying $10 for life to listen to music. He then pointed out that if Drake told fans to go to a digital download, they would, to which Vlad disagreed. Daylyt then told Vlad that he sold 100,000 albums on his own website, and he went on to show emails to prove it.
