Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, are reportedly facing a lawsuit after a security guard claimed he was punched in the face by Petty.
In January 2022, a security guard named Thomas Weidenmuller, who lives in Germany, filed a lawsuit for battery and infliction of emotional distress. However, the guard filed new documents in Los Angeles, asking for $753,958 from the married couple over the alleged attack.
Weidenmuller claims he was working a concert for Minaj in 2019 while she was in Frankfurt, Germany. A reportedly got past security while the rapper was performing on stage, which upset the artist. The fan didn’t create any damage or mess up the show, but Minaj confronted the female security guard who messed up. Weidenmuller said Minaj called the female security guard a “f**king b***h” and allegedly threw her shoes at the guard even though she apologized.
Weidenmuller says he was called backstage to talk with the rapper when Petty and bodyguards approached him. The guard says Petty punched him in the face after Minaj allegedly cursed at him, called him names, and accused him of being in a relationship with the female security guard. The guard was allegedly put in the hospital for ten days and suffered a broken jaw from the attack by Petty, according to his lawsuit. As a result, an arrest warrant for Petty has been issued in Germany.
