In this clip, Nicholas Irving reflects back on the four-month span when he recorded 33 confirmed kills as a special operations sniper in the 3rd Ranger Battalion for the U.S. Army. He explains that he may have killed even more than that, but the enemy would often remove the bodies that he shot, which skewed the numbers. He also explains why he loved snipping more than being a machine gunner when he served. From there, he recalls an occurrence in Baghdad when he encountered a female civilian who spoke English before recounting a horrific incident when one of his snippers killed an old lady with an AK in her possession.
