Kodak Black & Justin Bieber Reportedly Sued Over Shooting at Bieber's LA Afterparty

Kodak Black and Justin Bieber are reportedly being sued for a shooting in Los Angeles a year ago during Super Bowl weekend. Two men allege they were shot following an afterparty for a Justin Bieber concert. 

The incident went down in February 2022, with Adam Rahman and Mark Schaefer claiming to be severely injured due to the shooting. Because of that, Kodak Black, Justin Bieber, and a venue called The Nice Guy have been named in the suit. 

The lawsuit alleges that Kodak tried to escalate the situation and blame him for the shooting. The victims also said the venue had security that wasn’t adamant about de-escalating the situation, which is why they were named. The two men are being represented by Gloria Allred, the mother of Blac Chyna’s lawyer Lisa Bloom. 

Kodak Black’s attorney Bradford Cohen issued a statement to TMZ, saying: “I have seen a lot of bad complaints in my day. This is the most poorly drafted complaint I have seen in 26 years. I expect Kodak to be dismissed from this suit fairly quickly.” Cohen didn’t stop there, saying, “There is zero specificity in the complaint, and Ms. Allred groups the defendants all together instead of making specific allegations against each. It's law school 101. I am embarrassed for Ms. Allred that she actually signed her name to that complaint.”

Rahman and Schaefer are suing Justin Bieber, Kodak Black, The Nice Guy, Los Angeles County, and the city of West Hollywood. Stay tuned for more updates.

According to reports, four people were injured after a shooting went down outside of an afterparty thrown by Justin Bieber. The singer had a concert earlier that night, and his afterparty had many people in attendance at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood. 

Kodak Black, Gunna, and Lil Baby could be seen chatting among those out and about. The trio was smiling and talking when a fight could be seen breaking out. Kodak Black was among those involved in the fight when multiple gunshots could be heard going off. 

From there, it was noted that ten shots were fired. Four people were injured or hit by gunfire, according to police. They were taken to the hospital and were confirmed to be in stable condition. Law enforcement sources also said the shooters were still on the loose as of now. Stay tuned for more updates.
