Recently, Young Thug submitted a list of people he would like to be witnesses in his YSL RICO case. Court documents that surfaced noted the rapper submitted the names of 36 people.

Among those 36 people submitted, YouTube’s Global Head of Music, Lyor Cohen, and former Executive Vice President of Warner Music Group, Kevin Liles, were present. Both Cohen and Liles co-founded 300 Entertainment, where Young Thug was once signed to. The rapper worked closely with Cohen and Liles early in his career.

Despite the submission, there’s still an entire jury selection process, which could take months to finish, according to Judge Ural Granville. There are reportedly 613 people who were in the pool of jurors, and they will have to watch a reading of the indictment against the rapper and his co-defendants. While speaking about the process, Granville said, “Just for your basic juror math, if we examine five a day, that is four months,” Glanville said. “If you examine a full panel a day, that’s about two and a half months.”

Over half of the 613 people requested for jury duty were excused as of now. Stay tuned for more updates.
